Tourist Visa

Issued to foreign nationals who wish to visit India for tourism, sightseeing, family or leisure purposes. Valid for 1 year with multiple entries.

(You can not be able to extend this visa more than 1 year in India, you have to exit country before expiry if visa)

• Original Passport valid for at least 6 months
• 1 Photographs – 2*2 inch (US Size Photo, do not wear white cloths for photo)
• Australian visa/residency proof
• Bank statement or Proof of balance 

Entry Visa

Suitable for persons of Indian origin or their family members (spouses, children, etc.) visiting India. Valid for 1 year.

(You can extend this visa while in India, you need to contact FRRO office in your district)

• Proof of Indian origin (or relationship with Indian origin holder)
• Original Passport valid for at least 6 months
• Australian visa/residency proof
• 1 Photographs – 2*2 inch (US Size Photo, do not wear white cloths for photo)
• Bank statement or Proof of balance 

e-Visa

Convenient online visa for tourism. Typically valid for 30 days to 1 year with multiple entries.

(You can not extend this visa while in India and your stay can not be more than 180 days in 1 year and no more than 90 days in 1 visit)

• Online form completion
• 1 Photographs – 2*2 inch (US Size Photo, do not wear white cloths for photo)
• Clear scan of Passport (No flash on copy or blurred information)
